Shit is scary, that’s a bonafide reality.
Regardless of what you know about the history of Iran and the U.S. (and Britain), it’s a scary time. There’s a lot of history between us and them, and when everything is taken into account, I don’t think anyone wins. But the U.S. and Iran really lose.

1953 Iran is still important!
1953, Mossadegh, the elected leader of Iran, who had done 30 years in Iranian parliament, was deposed by the U.S. and Britain and the Shah was installed. Mossadegh’s crime? He wanted to nationalize Iranian oil. Churchill and Eisenhower were against it. They got Kermit Roosevelt to lead the coup. Shortly after that happened, the word “terrorism” became a thing. We robbed them so we could keep robbing them. Then we act all innocent when they get pissed about it. What is that, everyone? Yep. A big ole gaslight. Makes sense. Seeing who’s in the hot seat. He’s a pro gaslighter. One of the best of the worst.

“I want what you have, so I’ll club you over the head and rob it from you.” – US foreign policy for ages.
I don’t understand intricate details about all the factions in Iran. I don’t understand what the U.S. (and Israel this time) are telling the news that is true or isn’t. But I read about the 50’s. And we really fucked Iran. I hate the USA. Reasons are in foreign policy as well as domestic. We have a tendency to fuck with folks to get what we want. I think that’s a horrible way to be.

Fuck fighting and war.
It causes wars, that’s why. The collateral damage from conflict, bombs, trauma, bullets, lasts hundreds of years. I’m a guy who prefers peace. It might have to do with trauma I experienced. I was also in the Navy. I also enjoy reading about history and foreign policy. Whatever the reasons for not liking war, I just don’t like it.

Ahhh beautiful Persia.
Iran has been a heartbreak my whole life. It’s a beautiful country. Don’t know if you’ve ever watched an Iranian film, but I bet there’s amazing scenery in it. The stories of Persia and ancient accomplishments, priceless. The religious differences are a crutch. See, trump’s happy to let you think “those stinking Muslims,” while he robs, murders, pillages, and runs Iran. If you’re thinking “Muslims,” try thinking “resources.” I know it’s hard. But you gotta’ realize with Venezuela and now Iran, there’s a for real pattern here. It’s oil.

Iran and Venezuela.
According to oil investors, Iran and Venezuela do not live up to their potential. Funny, seeing as we meddled in leadership and murdered folks in both those countries recently. Not rocket surgery here.

The oil game is outdated.
Oil itself is an old lame way of thinking. It’s thinking like the world is a board game. But it isn’t. It’s closer to a simulation. A board game gives players agency. None of us have that. We just have to watch. They’re going to do whatever the hell they want. You’re not actually winning on the world stage, you’re losing. Losing big. There’s nothing you can do about it. Or is there?

Have you ever wanted to help?
I don’t expect everyone wants to start a blog and make protest music. But maybe there is something you can or want to do that pitches in. You don’t have to be the driving force, just a hand. Maybe you have language skills that are handy for translating news. Maybe you have business acumen that helps get focus on our corrupt country. Maybe you have influence and it’s time for that Iran or Trump video. Maybe you’re sitting on knowledge that needs to be shared. Maybe poor folks live where you are and you have food and nurturing to give the next generation. All this and tons more is protest. Tell Trump and Company to fuck right off by being nice. You can do it. Our lives may depend on it. It’s past time for protest!
The plan:
The enemy is wealthy and in power, that’s the downside. But they’re heavily outnumbered and pretty stupid. Let’s play to our strengths. Let’s get our country. 🇺🇸
Return to home.
I wrote this back in 2016. You usually don’t get that much mileage out of a protest tune.. usually.
