Don’t you think it’s time to ‘freak out’ about nazis in the Whitehouse?
I have been in the south most of my life and one thing that really bothers me about it is all the damn racism. From cops to convenience stores to church to the hospital, racism is the rule here. Still. Think I’m overreacting or making a mountain out of a molehill? So does JD Vance. That does NOT help your case at all.

Historically, racism isn’t a big deal..It’s simply how it works.
Of course this kind of hate and prejudice isn’t a big deal if you’re a nazi. But if you aren’t a nazi…. I have friends and coworkers who have literally suffered at the hands of rednecks having a good time. It’s a big deal. I’ve experienced many times where someone thought I was cool with being cruel just because I am a big white dude. I don’t enjoy correcting them, but I do it anyway. Why? I don’t want them to be like JD Vance. Also, I like my friends, both the racist ones and the non-racists. Also, I’m kinda’ sick of racism.

You’re being played.
Something as simple as a 404 error on a site like the Texas Young Republicans tells me that they are into propaganda. Biden hasn’t been president in a while and he’s in chemo. He’s completely irrelevant. You know who is relevant? The actual president. But they won’t talk about him like he’s crazy even though he’s crazy on camera every single day. I wrote about this, gaslighting article.
One of their biggest assets is making you think you are the one who is crazy for thinking what they do is wrong. They’re very good at that, despite being stupid nazis. Enemies of racist bastards throughout history have underestimated them for being stupid. Nazis were called stupid all the time. But they’re so damn persistent. Reminds me of med school in a way. I’ve heard more than one Dr. say, “it’s not a matter of smarts, it’s endurance.” Nazis be that way.
What do you do right now if you are stupid?
Being stupid is fine. In America, if you are poor especially, you might not be very smart. We’ve been that way forever. I think it’s just being born here. I dropped out of high school and was very stupid a long, long time. I had to do a whole lot of learning to grow beyond it. Learning is the mindset you want, not hate. I facilitated the mindset with curriculum and some tools. I even got better lighting to read by. I went to the library again. I listened to college courses driving over the road for 12 years. Hundreds of them. I ain’t stupid anymore, but I can still be pretty dumb. haha.
I am not judging stupidity. It’s the biases. Folks are crazy with biases. Both sides. If you are on the right, there’s all kinds of folks you hate you’ve never met. Same with the left. Different biases, but still biases. I hope someone caves to being human again. I am not even a hugger, but wouldn’t mind one from a liberal or conservative at the moment. That’s because I learned folks are human. Before that, I was right there with my biases ready to fight.
What do you do if you are smart?
I am disappointed with my fellow smarty pants. I see smart folks cave to bias on the daily. I know it’s tiresome and I understand it is frustrating. I do not care about being mean to the assholes in office. But one of the reasons I left social media was how mean folks were to each other. No one is going to join a group of pissed off losers. It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to see that.

KEY, dammit.
Everything is at stake, I understand. We are circling the drain. But that is the fault of the billionaire elite. You know what else? MAGA’s are their fault too. These billionaires and politicians in the south in particular spent decades, maybe a whole century or two, dumbing down education. MAGA is the result of that. If the liberals wanted to hate MAGA’s, they might have tried harder with education. They are welcome to hate themselves instead now. Owning responsibility to the people in your district is realizing they need to be educated. Both sides allowed the south to slip into darkness. They can stop blaming each other now that I have cleared it up. They can start blaming Washington.
Citizens United
Last year during the election, the Supreme Court frightened me with horrid decisions. But I was used to it by then. See, back about 15 years ago, corporations became people as far as political parties were concerned. The politicians now serve corporations not citizens. They have to. They do not have a choice. They do not have enough money to run without them. This causes corruption. It’s actually in the system now. Thanks, Supreme Court. This is very important to know and read up on in my opinion if you want to learn about politics. It basically created the arena for today’s game. Check out the Citizens United wiki sometime. Bells go off.
So now?
Now? Profit rules all. On the civilian side, it makes for all work no play so you can help your job pay for its CEO and lobbyists. On the government side, it makes for crazy fundraisers where you end up promising corporations anything they want so you can be their beneficiary and bet come election time. Something like education gets put way down on the list. MAGA’s appear with talk radio then fox news. They don’t have the mind for resistance to folks they’ve typically trusted. People talk about drones nowadays. They don’t mention politics fans. But I’ve met quite a few on both sides.
A little about my politics history.
I was a democrat my whole life until last year. I loved so many democrats growing up. I did not like Reagan even as a child. He scared me with how aloof he seemed. I was like, “nuclear codes, anyone?” Now? I don’t even like the democrats I grew up liking. The world is different. I see them differently.
But Reagan had a team of at least competent republicans and a few democrats to prop him up. He didn’t have a conscience either, but he had an awareness. Can’t say the same for the dude there now.

I have always thought politics were important, still do. But I think they are distorted so much now, that we should focus on basics. I don’t believe right and wrong are as complicated as made out to be by punditry. I think that kind of talk excludes folks. We can’t tell folks to do what’s right then tell them they don’t know what right is, gimme’ a break.
I believe every political discussion is an opportunity to learn and teach something. It is folks talking to each other about how they see the world or would like to see it. I feel that is valuable information and worth doing. Talking about politics with freedom from ridicule is essential to my upbringing. My father in particular indulged me with child-like political discussions and got me to thinking early on. I still mess up a lot. But that’s okay. “Never know ’til you try” is a thing with me. It pays off routinely.
These are bad dudes, mmkay
I talk to a lot of left-leaning folks who feel powerless, or helpless, so they tune out. That’s your choice, just keep in mind, someone like Russell Vought knows a huge percentage of you will do that. So what do they do? They gaslight.
Gaslighting (when it works) makes you feel alone. IF you’re feeling that way, you feel helpless to take on a huge system or a lot of learning because you are alone in what you think is right. If you are spending any amount of time questioning your sanity, that’s time spent not questioning theirs. They know this. They don’t know a whole lot, but they got this one down.
We have to talk. Only way we get out of this. You are not alone. There’s likely millions of you, politically speaking. But going at it alone is pointless. They see to it.
return to home.
