What Would Trump Do?
One thing that baffled me for a long time is why the Christian Right likes trump so much. I’d like to share my opinion on that.
Trump doesn’t have any morals. How could someone like him? That’s a simple question, right? They don’t just like him though, they endorse him. They spent a lot of money and lip service to get him in, why?

There’s more than a few good reasons for anything significant.
Like every significant event with enough examination, there’s a convergence of factors. Racism is a factor. Sorry if you don’t think it is, complain to your white Jesus about it, but he was black. Gets worse from there, the more you think on it. Enjoy that, if you ain’t done it yet. If you have done it, you know, unfortunately, folks are just racist as hell. Even I’m racist. I’m trying to fight it with all my might. But yeah, it’s in there. Deep, somehow. I’ve talked to a scholar or two that say most folks are. Have to fight it.
Belief itself has a great deal to do with it. Some folks just “believe” in Trump. Bless their heart.
The main reason I can see is that Christian outfits with tons of money want to buy things. They want to buy preferential treatment or land, maybe their own corner of the world. Trump is just the person who’d sell it to them. He’s an auctioneer.

It’s an auction
Trump will sell you laws that work in your favor. Trump sells land like it’s going out of style. What’s happening is the rich churches are buying policy. That’s why they needed an unscrupulous man in office, to sell them the office. He had no problem selling citizenship. I suspect that will be a trend.
Do I think all church is bad? Yes. However, I think some are worse than others. Billionaire owned and run churches in Odessa, TX for example? Probably the worst. You’re fine if you like your church, I’m just betting I wouldn’t, is all.
Trump is a broker. He’s parceling off our country and selling to the highest bidders. He doesn’t need votes, or anything, really. He’s not even all mentally there. He’s a warm body with no conscience. That’s all church needed to do God’s will, like Project 2025.
We are nearly half-way there and it hasn’t been a year. Check the tracker! I ain’t lying.
This guy.
There’s a dude called Russell Vought. Now, he’s still a jackass, but he is not stupid. He is known as “The Architect” of Project 2025. He’s calling the shots. If Trump ever looks smart, it’s a good bet he was informed by Russ Vought. ProPublica did a recent piece on him on YouTube, I highly recommend.
Key:
See, Trump is a part of the problem, but not the whole problem. I used to tell myself as a kid around dangerous people, “ignore the mouth, watch the hands.” I’ve been hearing myself in my kid voice saying that again. And it dawned on me, trump is not the hands, silly! He’s the mouth. He’s a cog in the wheel. He’s actually designed to be my mental image of what’s happening. But now, thanks to that kid voice, what’s happening looks more like this:

Own this.
Rich folks can’t not be rich. That would be the worst thing in the world for them. They’d do anything to avoid being poor, even help Donald Trump. And that’s where we’re at. I don’t even think it has to do with privilege. It seems to me to be more of a wonky misconception of ownership.
If you find yourself confused about if it’s okay to own people, it’s not. Hope I cleared that up for you. It never is. Not even your children. Not believers. Not black folks. No one. Own yourself. That’s all you get.
It reminds of a time I talked with a person who had hired a sexworker and was bragging about it at a truck stop. I got the sense he was more excited to buy a person for an hour than he was about the sex. Rich folks remind me of this with the illusion of owning money, but really owning people.
To be frank, I don’t even think I own my guitars. I just think I’m looking after them while I am alive and they’re in my house. We’re not the same.
Fun to think about.
Ownership is a fun concept when you get into brand names. Who owns who when you’re putting an ice-chest sticker on your bumper? What about when you fight online iOS vs Android? Even when you buy an album, did you buy Taylor? Or did Taylor buy you?
Resist.
My goal is to be run by my voice inside. Not by convenience. Not technology, or AI. I want to hear my own voice. Again I say, I am not the same as these people.
I strongly feel there’s some decisions to make about what we need to do to hear our intuition. The enemy isn’t kind. Resolve and knowledge in your position actually puts you at an advantage. Welcome to resisting.

Training Videos.
I have been talking about these videos since they first came out. I still think they are important. You are confronted with a more accurate picture of who we are facing here, not just its mouth. Here’s a link to whole playlist.
