The lesser of two evils.
I used to buy into this notion that voting was a choice between the lesser of two evils. Here lately, I think me grading someone’s evil whom I don’t know is above my pay grade. Kamala Harris may be a great attorney, I have looked up her record. But she is not even close to a great politician. She has issues, don’t we all.
The Oprah gun thing.
First things first, I can’t believe a word she says unless she’s talking about her gun. The way she popped off to Oprah about her pistol and protecting her home sounded honest. Unfortunately, that one honest blip I heard from her, I don’t agree with, lol. I didn’t as a democrat, and I don’t still as just an antifascist. (Can’t say Antifa anymore. lol.)
Kamala Harris knows what insanity is.
In reading about her record as a prosecutor, it’s clear to me Kamala Harris is bright. If I didn’t have that to look at, I wouldn’t know it. One reason is the way she handled insanity during the campaign. She very easily could have demanded psych evals. Election over. No debate. A bonafide shrink wouldn’t need long with trump to determine him unfit. He’s worse than anyone I’ve ever seen in the psych ward the few times I have stayed there. It’s bothersome to me after looking at Kamala’s record. She absolutely knows what insanity is. Why she never told us, beyond me. If you have never been evaluated, they start off with really easy questions about weather, locations, who is president..etc. I guaran-damn-tee you trump wouldn’t have made it past that first part. Kamala knows this. Baffling. This more than anything makes me not trust her.
We have to talk about courting billionaires.
If you require billionaires to win an election, it makes me think you are not concerned about everyone else. Democrats have to make tough decisions here. I don’t want to be on a billionaire’s team. Both teams court billionaires. What’s the deal? Aren’t there way more of us than them? How can we utilize that fairly? I don’t think I’d agree on one single issue a billionaire does. For starters, there wouldn’t be any billionaires if the party was truly democratic. Democratic means, you get to vote and have a say, no matter your income bracket. We did not have that before the election in either party. No surprise the party with the most billionaires won. They bought the damn thing. Kamala seems to like this system. I think it’s hell.
I watched both sides.
Most of my democrat friends just watched the democrat campaign. This is a mistake, I think. Trump was nuts the whole time. He said really bizarre things. Elon too. This wouldn’t have been tough if you were allowed to talk about how crazy they were. For future elections, if any, I’d recommend watching coverage from both campaigns. There’s no reason to only be half informed.
I’m not a politician.
I don’t know so many things, I must say. Why Kamala Harris to begin with? Why not talk about insanity when it applies to half the country? Why brag about your pistol to Oprah? Why be smart and act so dumb? Why wasn’t trump disqualified for threatening another insurrection to foreign leaders like Netanyahu? Why wasn’t trump disqualified for a bunch of shit, actually? I know the answer has something to do with billionaires, but I don’t know details. I don’t really know much. Why? Because they keep a lid on that shit.
Critical thinking is critical.
Kamala Harris was not a great candidate. She was better than trump, but so is my dog, Sadie. We should have talks about accountability, responsibility, and honesty. We need to demand more from these “public servant” millionaires and billionaires. Just how much of the public are they serving? From this perspective, it looks like they open the door to windfall profits for folks who don’t need them. There’s more to governing than that. If you don’t know, I’d start looking up politics. Time to crack the books.
The main things that bother me about Democrats at the moment.
The republican nazis have a tendency to play a game and the democrats tend to play along. Democrats voted for trump cabinet, several trump bills. Ole’ Chuck Schumer said one time he wrote a “stern letter” to trump. That’s like, wayyy less than even a slap on the wrist. lol..
I want to make criminals criminals again, not reward them. Washington seems averse to that. Until they can break out the handcuffs and start carting the gangsters off, I don’t know who to vote for. I look on ballotpedia and the votes make them all look like they’re on the same team. Not a good look.
It’s also very disturbing to me that many democrats seem to have the same distorted perception of reality that MAGA’s do. We aren’t looking at the same things the same way. Many times both MAGA’s and Dems sound the same when talking to me. I talk to both a bunch. They sound the same on mental illness, that is silent. But if you find a hole in their logic, it’s like a personal attack. What am I supposed to do? Lie and say I agree to avoid conflict? Isn’t that partly why we are here to begin with? I’m not doing that. Don’t care if I lose friends. I want friends that don’t lie anyway.
I asked great questions about Kamala Harris and trump leading up to the election. Lost friends on both sides, asking questions. Do you understand how that isn’t my problem?
