I’m about vibes at the moment.
I am getting a kick out of creating environments, scenes, backgrounds, and jingles. I’m sure I will get back to heavy story-telling someday soon, but that day is not today. Today? It’s just about vibe. Mainly it’s about chill vibes. I end up making the music I need when I do it right. Chill vibes are not only on the nose, they’re in the ears.
Hand Drumming.
The djembe has brought mobility and use back in my hands that has made playing on all instruments easier and less frustrating. I don’t expect the djembe to go anywhere. In a way, I feel like that would be rude to the djembe for what it’s done for me.
Do Your Thing.
I used to be scared to make music only I would like. Now I am preoccupied with the notion of what that sounds like. I’m pretty certain other folks out there might like it. I’d like to meet those folks, know where they are. I’d like to learn about what they do and their processes for making music if any. All this is based on honest music that comes out. It’s not about numbers. It’s about connecting with folks.
I’d love to make music for you if you need anything.
I’ve done commercials, themes, jingles, and I really like doing them. Hit me up at [email protected] should you want any music for a visual project, documentary, game, commercial, podcast, livestream, anything..Here’s a sample I did for a Youtube thing.

I say often we are songwriters on a journey
I talk about artistic journeys a lot. I hope you are able to take one sometime. Honestly, the hardest part for me is giving myself permission to do it at the outset. Once I clear that hurdle, I’m usually coasting. I simply do not want to grant myself an artistic exploration for one reason or another naturally. I have to talk myself into it. That’s okay, I suppose. I mean, I still get to do it eventually. Do you?
