The first goal is I simply need to type. It’s where all my nervous energy is going. Thoughts happen while typing, much like smoking, I suppose. I used to smoke. Maybe there’s a connection. Whatever the case, I just gotta’ type. I bother people too much as it is. This way helps my conscience in that I’m setting up a shop and you can visit whenever you want. I still get to type. Everyone’s happy, I mean, in theory.
I hate algorithms and social media in general and how it’s become. This site won’t have logins, algos, passwords, forums, comments, or any other trappings commonly found on other sites. I want to provide music, information, opinion, and to keep you up to date with our album coming soon. I want you to listen to my friends. I want to think out loud about music and a few tangents. I love conversations about songwriting and the process. Feel free to email, I love it. But I’m tired of public comment sections. All the “good” ones are commenters talking to each other and not about the post anyway. I’ll pass.
What’s in it for me?
I don’t charge for anything. require a password, or have a sign up. The only way I get your email is if you email me. Even then, the newsletter is going to be monthly and not intrusive. I don’t need your details or demographics. I don’t need your response to every move I make. I do this because I’m sick of all that shit. Really, really tired. Just plug me in to the music and fuck the rest when I’m online.
