Dino DiMuro has a way about him. I have listened to loads of his music. I have a nice playlist of his stuff I own so far on the playlists section of the site. What keeps me coming back to his music is I can’t remember it as easily as other stuff. I have to actually listen to it for the vibe. It’s neat.
If you’re playing praise music or simple songs, you can play them while you sleep. We’re talking about 2-4 chords. No changes. I don’t know if you’ve had the privilege of playing praise music for side cash, but I was only good for two times. Heard four chords in my brain all day and I’m an atheist, not worth it.

Dino is the opposite of those kinds of songs. He doesn’t have limitations, he finds what he wants and does it, or stumbles onto it by some mysterious great accident. It really feels that way. It’s loaded with changes, surprises, and even humor, you have to listen more than once. Memory deserves the treats found here.
The humor is important, because it makes the vibe inviting. Sure there’s chaos and even math, but there’s loads of laughs and great memories.
Full disclosure, Dino and I are friends. This is just because he’s one of the nicest folks I’ve “met” in online music circles. He’s fun to talk to. He’s supportive and knowledgeable about a broad spectrum of life’s little challenges. He’s warm and sincere. He’s playful. I love the man and his music.
My first Dino record was 5. It has everything I talk about here. But so does nearly his whole catalogue. Every time a new one comes out, we say, “Yep. That’s Dino!”
If you find yourself looking for something different. You might find what you need from Dino DiMuro’s BandCamp page. I do, often.
Keri and I had the honor of working with Dino on a song of his called “The House Watcher.”

Dino wrote a fun and eerie song called, “The House Watcher.” He invited Keri and I to sing on it. It isn’t like anything in our catalogue. That’s great and totally a Dino move.
It was a fun journey. I was slightly out of my comfort zone with the tune but Dino was so nice. Keri came up with a high part that sealed the deal for me, especially singing with Dino. Fun project. Educational and lots of laughs. Dino is not only a great guy and musician, he’s a terrific collaborator.
There comes a day we all end up looking for something different, sincere, or thought-provoking. You’re not wrong to bookmark Dino DiMuro for when that day comes for you.

I am Kelly Kintner. I write songs and I write a blog. Enjoy.
