This is the dumbest saying out there that I know of. Not only is it elitist, it reminds me of a slave driver whipping the help.

A producer can be a member of a team, (and often should be).
One thing I have learned since I have been a producer is that it isn’t wasting time casually reading about equipment you haven’t used yet. It could be research.

Trading endorsements isn’t a “network.”
It’s been my experience that not all “networks” are beneficial. In fact “network” often means hierarchy. Not my thing.
